Gorgeous new compact camera from Canon company, with a 20x optical zoom, built-in WiFi and GPS modules. What I particularly liked is the quality of video to be recorded in Full HD format, in 60 or 30fps is.
Canon Powershot SX280HS is a new model of the travel-zoom category inherits model SX260 HS. Although essentially comes quite compact body (although it should be borne in mind that this is not an ultra-compact category), the manufacturer is wrapped so that it is really impressive. Beginning 12MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor and the DIGIC image processor 6 (which is used in many more expensive Canon cameras) lens with a 20x optical zoom lens (covering a 20-500mm on a 35mm equivalent), of course with the optical (anti-shake system) , 3 “LCD screen resolution of 461,000 pixels, to capture Full HD video at up to 60 fps as well as slow motion video up to 240fps, as a built-in WiFi and GPS. This is an appliance for advanced amateurs, who like to have as much technology in one device, with plenty of options available.

Canon Powershot SX280 HS
With dimensions of 106.4×62.8×32.6mm and weighs about 210g, this device is compact enough to fit in a jacket pocket, and no matter what model is ultra compact category, small enough to not pose a huge burden for those who prefer to carry a camera with you everywhere. Available in red and black version. To at least visually, reduce Dimensions, Canon designed it with rounded lines can, so very nice to hold. However, more would like it, instead of belt pouch with wrist given the option to put a belt to be worn around the neck. As design is concerned, we have only one remark concerning the screen on the back side, which is that millimeter ejected from the chassis, which slightly distorts aesthetics. Also, the front is improvised grip that could definitely be better ergonomics.
On the front side we have a built-in stereo microphone, speaker, AF lamp, while the built-in flash on the upper side so that comes out of the chassis as needed. On the upper side we see the Power button, shutter with zoom ring, and on the middle and built-in GPS module. Back side is dominated by 3 “screen resolution of 460,000 pixels, while next to him Mode Dial, Playback, Record, Display, Menu and navigation key with scroll. Though the Mode Dial little jagged to make it easier for turning, we’re not thrilled with his position as may to be inconvenient for turning with one hand. On the right side of the slide below which are HDMI and AV connectors, while the battery and memory card are placed on the lower side, where it is placed and threaded tripod.
Camera has access to as many as 12 different regimes Taken from automatic to “creative” and semi-manual for those a little more advanced and demanding to. Interesting feature of which there are plenty, mentioned the Movie Digest which records videos 4s before photographing, and then connects all the pistons on the same day in one, it looks very interesting. To name and Slow Motion variant is possible to record the video frame to 240fps Rat’s. There are plenty of interesting effects of tilt-shift variant until quite good panorama, a super is that the effects can try before they are photographed. For those who like to walk a lot, there is an option GPS Logger, which with full battery can 48h record the movement and through with Map Utility software inject into Google Maps.
Photo quality is excellent, but we were impressed how the video looks in Full HD format with Dynamic Image stabilization at 30fps or 60 fps, or even Slow Motion at 120fps or 240 fps. This camera has a lot to offer and is a great option for all those who love to shoot pictures and record videos with direct connection to a computer or even a printer through WiFi. These compact zoom cameras are becoming more popular and it seems that the manufacturers are competing to offer as much as possible in a small case. In this case, Canon did a great job.
